January 24, 2019: SFU, Don’t BoG Us Down!

SFU’s Board of Governors is the governing body at the university who is responsible for the business of the University (property, revenue and policies). The Board of Governors (BoG) will make the final decision regarding tuition hikes in their March, 2019 meeting.

Tuition Freeze Now has been put on the agenda for the upcoming BoG meeting (Thursday, January 24, 2019) to present in front of the BoG members. This is a great opportunity to come out and show your support for a tuition freeze. We need to let SFU know that the students will not stand for a tuition increase, and joining us at the meeting will send a clear message to the SFU team.

The meeting will be held at 8 a.m. at Harbour Center (room 1400 – 1410).

There will be a light breakfast event hosted by the SFSS beforehand, starting at 7 a.m. in the West Fraser Timber Room (2290) at Harbour Center.
